Kamoshika Earthenware Donabe Pot
Kamoshika Earthenware Donabe Pot
Banko ware is Japanese pottery from the Yokkaichi, Mie region of Japan. Made from petalite, a rare colorless gem, which has excellent heat resistance in the earthenware tradition that accounts for 80% of the region's Japanese domestic market share.
The round and deep shape of the earthenware pot is designed to hold many ingredients, nestled closely promoting flavor permeation. The far-infrared effect of the earthenware pot allows the food to cook slowly and evenly.
It comes in two simple colors, black or white with a natural colored base.
Ideal for one to two servings. The lid is easy to lift with the raised grip and has notches that can hold a small ladle or cooking paddle.
